A Tale of Twisties & Straights (Lavasa Edition)

A 3 day long holiday…perfect for a weekend getaway right? Well we thought so too. As usual nothing worked as per our plans. So, my buddy Ravi and I decided to hit Lavasa for a few practice runs. Those of you un-aware of a getaway called Lavasa, it’s a private, planned city being built near Pune, spread across 25000 acres. More importantly, the twisties make it a biker’s dream track. Ravi and I started early morning at around 5:30 AM. After a tea break at Lonavala, we made a straight run for Lavasa, meeting a number of bikers on the way. We met up fellow petrolheads from Bike Nomads at the Lavasa base, chatted a bit and then hit the smooth hill roads. Well without much further adieu, here are the pics:

We covered almost 450 kms in this trip. Scarlet and Sylvia scorched up the tarmac real good! We’ll be sure to return to Lavasa for a few more fun runs ๐Ÿ˜‰
